Before you order

Most bad orders are a coverage problem

Coverage is not one number. The same gallon of epoxy covers roughly 120 to 130 square feet as a flake broadcast base coat and 175 to 250 square feet as a solid color floor. Porosity, surface profile and how hard you push the squeegee all move it.

Every competitor in this category either publishes a single misleading figure or publishes nothing. We give you a range and tell you what moves it, because a crew that runs short mid-pour loses a day.

Read the coverage guide

How much material do I need?

Enter the slab. We will give you a range, because porosity and surface profile change real coverage.

Floor area
400 sq ft
Base coat
3.1 to 3.4 gal
Topcoat (1 pass)
3.1 to 3.4 gal
Flake

Base coat, flake broadcast to rejection, then a clear topcoat. Order roughly 10% over on a first job.

Freight, said out loud

Nobody in this business will tell you what shipping costs

You can find a competitor listing a $41,000 grinder with no shipping information anywhere on the page. We publish the actual policy: what ships ground, what goes LTL, when you need a liftgate, what residential delivery adds, and which liquids cannot fly.

Read the shipping policy

Same day dispatch

LTL quoted, not hidden

Regulated liquids

Solvents and acids ship ground only. No air freight, no exceptions.

Questions we get every week

Do you ship concrete coating supplies nationwide?

Twin Coating Supplies ships nationwide across the United States from Dallas-Fort Worth. Orders placed by 1:00pm CT on a business day go out the same day. Heavier orders move by LTL freight and we quote that before you pay rather than burying it.

Do you sell to contractors, homeowners, or both?

Both. We are a contractor-first supply house, so the catalog is built around components a working crew reorders, but the same products are available to a homeowner doing their own floor. Call and describe the slab and we will tell you what the job actually needs.

How much epoxy do I need for a two-car garage?

A standard two-car garage runs roughly 400 to 500 square feet. As a flake broadcast base coat at about 120 to 130 square feet per gallon, that is roughly 3 to 4 gallons per coat. Porosity and surface profile move the number, so use the coverage calculator for a range.

Do you offer contractor or pallet pricing?

Yes. We run a Tier Partner Program for volume buyers, and we quote pallet and truckload pricing directly. Call (817) 676-6793 with what you go through in a month and we will price it properly.

Can I get a technical data sheet and SDS before buying?

Yes, on any product we sell. TDS and SDS are available before purchase, not after. Request them by phone or email and we will send them the same day, because nobody should be specifying a coating from a marketing description.

How is a floor grinder delivered?

Grinders and other heavy equipment ship by LTL freight on a pallet. You will need a forklift or a liftgate at the delivery point, and residential delivery costs more than commercial. Call for a freight quote and lead time before ordering so there are no surprises at the curb.

Do you offer epoxy floor training?

Yes. We run hands-on in-person training covering surface prep, moisture testing, mixing, base coat, broadcast and topcoat, plus the business side of pricing and selling floor jobs. Call (817) 676-6793 for upcoming dates and pricing.

What is the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?

Epoxy is a slower-curing, high-build base coat with excellent adhesion and a long working time. Polyaspartic cures fast, tolerates cold, and holds up to UV without yellowing, which makes it the usual topcoat choice. Many of the best floors use both.

Not sure what the job needs?

Call and describe the slab. Square footage, condition, what is on it now, and what the customer wants it to look like. We will tell you what to buy and what to skip.
